The v0.4.3 patch is the most consequential balance update since the Alpha launched. Banefire was the single most-broken status in the game — at 0.017 of MaxHP per tick, even a max-HP Warrior would melt through 5 ticks. The rebalance to 0.015 brings the expected time-to-death in a Dreadlord's Call opener from 4 turns to 5, which is enough room for Cleansing + Druid healing to keep the party alive.
The Artificer Turret fix is a long-standing complaint. Previously, if you had STR > INT, the Turret would inherit Heat Blast instead of the intended highest non-INT. Now it correctly reads DEX or STR as the trigger, matching the documented behavior.
Bone Drake's opening window expanding to 1.5 turns means the Dreadlord's Call applies at the end of the player's first turn, not the start. This gives one full turn of setup before the Banefire ticks begin — enough for a Druid to drop the Bear companion and a Cleansing Boon user to prep.
